Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mediating influence of work motivation on the influence of compensation and work discipline on employee morale at PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur. The population of this research is employees of PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur. Respondents were determined using the census method with 81 respondents. The research analysis technique uses "Path Analysis". The results of the analysis show that 1) Compensation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work motivation; 2) Compensation, work discipline and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on work motivation; 3) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on work morale through work motivation. Work motivation can act as a mediating variable in the relationship between compensation and employee work enthusiasm; and 4) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on work morale through work motivation at PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur. Work motivation can act as a mediating variable in the relationship between discipline and employee work enthusiasm at PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur. The implication of this research is that work motivation can act as a mediating variable on the influence of compensation and work discipline on work morale at PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur.
