Abstract

This research aims to determine the mediation of job satisfaction on the influence of the work environment and organizational commitment. The population in this study were employees of the Tabanan Regency Research and Development Regional Planning Agency. This research sample used a saturated sample of 60 people. The analysis technique uses a variance based or component based approach with Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of Warp PLS. The results of the analysis show that 1) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; 2) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; 3) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment;  and 4) Job satisfaction mediates positively and significantly in the relationship between the work environment and organizational commitment at the Tabanan Regency Research and Development Regional Planning Agency. It is hoped that the suggestions in this research will be for the leadership of the Tabanan Regency Research and Development Regional Planning Agency to pay attention to and improve the work environment, job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
