This study aims to analyze work stress as an intervening variable on the influence of the work environment and work conflict on employee performance at the Jembrana Regency State General Hospital. The research analysis technique is to test the research hypothesis using `path analysis'. The results show that the work environment has a negative and significant effect on nurses' work stress, work conflict has a positive and significant effect on nurses' work stress, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on nurse performance, work conflict has a negative and significant effect on nurse performance, job stress has a negative and significant effect on nurse performance, work stress is able to intervene in the influence of the work environment on nurse performance, work stress is able to intervene in the influence of work conflict on the performance of nurses at the Jembrana Regency State General Hospital.
