LEADER MEMBER EXCHANGE TO INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTIVITY AND INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE: MODERATION EFFECT OF SENIORITY

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship influenced by the level of seniority between LMX and productivity and individual performance at UD. Kerupuk Cap Nemo. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach with the independent variable is LMX (X), the dependent variable is productivity (Y1) and individual performance (Y2), and the moderating variable is seniority (m). The population in this study were all employees at UD. Kerupuk Cap Nemo. The sampling technique uses non probability sampling with saturated sample technique. Obtained a sample of 51 employees. The data collection technique in this technique uses a questionnaire. The results of the research presented in this study indicate an influence between LMX on productivity and individual performance. In addition, the seniority variable weakens the influence of LMX on individual productivity and performance. Thus, the findings of this study contribute to the understanding of the importance of LMX in influencing individual productivity and performance in a company. The implications of the results of this study can be used as a basis for improving human resource management practices related to aspects of leadership and employee characteristics.
